Just found out I'm pregnant and looking to have an abortion

Hi everyone, this is really difficult for me to write so sorry it's long. I (34F) am married to my husband (41M) and we have a daughter (3F).

I'm on a contraceptive pill, Norgeston, and have been for years (other than my last pregnancy). I've done a test today after not having a proper period (I think now it must've been implantation bleeding) and another symptom I decided to do a test. When those two lines showed up, my initial reaction was "oh s**t". People will often say the initial reaction is the true feeling. My husband and I had both said we didn't want anymore children due to a number of reasons. I told him about it when he got home from work, and he basically said he supports whatever decision I make. We had a long chat, weighed up the pros and cons and we've decided an abortion is the best option for us.

Our daughter wasn't my first pregnancy. In October 2021, I suffered a miscarriage at 5 weeks pregnant. It was devastating and traumatic for me. I'm looking at the medical abortion option, but I'm worried it's going to bring back trauma from my miscarriage as its a similar process.

I don't know exactly what I'm wanting to get out of writing this post. Maybe if people want to share advice or their experiences, they'd be welcome. Thank you for reading.
