Finished the base game and it’s so good! Just want to say DS2 gets too much unnecessary hate. I put it off for so long because online discourse would always crap on it, but glad I tried it out. The level design and visuals are just some of my favorite in all souls games. Ganks and adp weren’t a big deal to me. I feel everything is manageable if you play a little slower and take the fights 1v1 best you can. While the bosses aren’t the best compared to other games I feel like the exploration and level design make up for that. However I am burnt out from finishing the base game in 5 days so I’ll come back to the dlc hopefully several weeks down the road! I did start the sunken crown dlc and made it to the final dragon boss fight there but rather play it when I’m in high spirits, so I can truly appreciate it!
