Fontana. Rancho Cucamonga. Upland. Mt. Baldy. San Antonio Heights.

My opponents are both named Jesse. Both came from the Fontana City Council. And both helped shape the same politics and warehouse alliance people here are frustrated with. I am an IT, studied Public Sector Mgmt, CSUN. Fontana Resident, Activist, Organizer, Eager to see fascist-sympathizing seats across the Inland Empire get flipped by people who actually give a damn about working communities.

A County Supervisor helps decide what gets built here, where money goes, and how our region grows. Housing, Warehouses, Pollution standards, Infrastructure, Quality of life.

We won’t see improvement we want because developers, county GOP, and corporate donors buy the “Armendarez III” signs blocking your view.

My signs are screen printed by hand in my new friend’s front yard. This campaign is built by workers, renters, teachers, organizers, and neighbors. People who actually live with the consequences of careless decisions.

The endorsement from Democratic Socialists of America Inland Empire means this campaign is not being built by insiders or big money. It is being built by neighbors who want a different future for this region.

San Bernardino County Supervisor D2 Race
Comes down to who from Fontana is smart enough to say no to warehouse developers, that’s hard for 2/3, not me.

I’m Joe Alvanez, Democratic Socialist, Fontana Resident. 37. IT, activist, community organizer, married father of 2. I studied Public Sector Management at CSUN. Working class solidarity. Proud descendant of immigrants and Indigenous people.

I’m running against:
• Jesse Armendarez, MAGA Incumbent, former Fontana councilman
• Jesse Sandoval, who has been on the Fontana City Council for 12+ years.

Their “experience” is what gave us the warehouse mess in Fontana that spread across the Inland Empire.

The San Bernardino Sun asked all of us if we support more warehouse projects.

Jesse said we need “responsible warehouse development.”
Jesse said new warehouses are still “crucial.”

I said no. The warehouse expansion problem today is because of decisions they both made a decade ago. Thank them for making us #1, in worst air pollution. And now the next phase is arriving: data centers, detention facilities, and even more industrial expansion.

As supervisor I will work to hold big logistics and soulless developers accountable. To establish a standard of affordable housing that is tied to major development projects and putting people first, unlike the other two candidates, who side with developers and insiders over the community time after time.

We can all make a huge impact here but we need to get out and vote. Especially locally. If you or anyone you know in the city of:
