Star drops are my nemesis
First time working on a hands free star drop. I’m gunna keep working on this. Star drops have always kind of freaked me out.

I recently bought new silks and I love them, except they are REALLY slippery. Any recommendations on how to “break them in” or Rosen them to make them just a little bit more grippy?
Hello!
I have been doing aerials for about 10 years, Silks, Trap, Lyra, Hammock, and I have a Studio i train at 3 times a week.
I want to figure out a home set up where I can work on conditioning and skill refinement (no tricks, drops, or dynamics) but do not have a rigging point at home.
I rent so it's not like I can drill into any support beams and we have 8' ceilings in our basement and plenty of floor space. I've thought about getting a portable rig and setting it up inside but I worry about how sturdy or practical that would be.
Any suggestions on how I can make a home set up where I can rig and work through some things?
