Dan has told his story, and moved on.

It's okay for a story to end. Everything doesn't need sequels or prequels. Especially when the brains behind rdr1 and 2 is no longer with Rockstar.

I'm not sure why people want somebody else continuing Dan's story, if he isn't there at the helm.

It gets to be like fan fiction at that point.

Now, if they hire him back on as a lead writer, I'd be okay with it if he has more story to tell.
