DF model names for Zoans are confusing sometimes
When it comes to Zoans instead of naming them by the animal, he names them by the animal branch. Like there is no Lion-Lion fruit, it's cat-cat fruit model: lion, also for panther, leaopard ect. Like how the giraffe fruit is part of the ox family, even tho it's not part of the Ox brach. Or the wolf and fox fruit being part of the dog-dog fruit.
But here we have a squirrel-squirrel fruit. Why not call it the Rodent-Rodent fruit or Rat-Rat fruit model: Ratatoskr. Maybe because it's the first Rodent zoan transformation we had in the series. And so Oda forgot about the naming sceme. Because remember with dinosaur Zoans are all Dragon-Dragon fruit models. Even tho they have no relation to dragon other than being giant lizards.
Now what happends if we get a Rat devil fruit. Is it gonna be called the Rat-Rat fruit. Or the Squirrel-Squirrel fruit model: Rat. Or a mouse fruit. Is it gonna be Rat-Rat model: mouse. Or just the mouse-mouse fruit.
