I’m going into second year in Bio-Medical science and i’m hoping to go to med school. I heard that BIOM3200 wasn’t too hard for a full credit course but I was wondering if maybe it wasn’t as comprehensive and the HK pathway would be better for the MCAT. Also are there any electives anyone would recommend to me in my situation. Thanks in advance for everyone’s help, I really appreciate it :)
Does anyone know why all my sports channels are showing up as some random Georgian (I think) news channel. I’m trying to watch the jays game and TSN as well as the mlb network streams and many others are showing up as this channel
Since it’s Noel birthday I thought we would have a chat about his songwriting. I was wondering what you guys think of as some of his most under appreciated and best songwriting. Some that come to mind for me are Don’t go away (even though it’s popular I think it’s still underrated), going nowhere and idlers dream :)
Seriously, so many people (including Noel himself lol) have shit on BHN. I don’t understand it at all, I think it has some of Oasis’ best. Don’t go away is my personal favourite song ever, The girl in the dirty shirt, IHITIK, All around the world, Stand by me. Every song on it is great in my opinion, and all the demo versions with Noel are great. I think Liam sounds amazing in all of these tracks and I really enjoy how full and layered Noel’s “wall of guitars” is. Like the only critique that makes sense to me is when people say some of the songs, specifically All Around the World, are too long, but for me I don’t mind that. Can anyone tell me why they don’t like BHN or if you’re like me and think it’s one of, if not the best Oasis album.
Edit: Someone pointed out this really good article about the album and I think it’s worth a read to provide some more perspective. I also think a problem with this album is comparison, everyone compares it to the first 2, I get it, but why? Why can’t we just acknowledge that the songs on this album are good, although some are long, without hoping that it’s DM or WTSMG. People compare the longest song, All Around the World, to the longest song on WTSMG, Champagne Supernova, which of course is no comparison. Is all around the world long? Sure. Is magic pie long? Yes a bit. Are they both still pretty good tunes? I think so. If this album was cut down a little (which seems to be the main complaint), I think that we wouldn’t even be having this conversation.
