First playthrough and this blew my mind a little bit! At first I had a hard time getting into the game, but once it clicked for me, it's been super fun! Some more first playthrough thoughts as well.

This game rules! I'm so invested in everything going on, and the gameplay is super fun. I was legit shocked when I found out the crazy old lady in the woods was the Baron's wife, especially after already speaking to Tamara and doing a lot of the Baron questline.

In addition, I felt like I should release the spirit they told me to destroy; hopefully that was the right call, but I feel like maybe lore Geralt would maybe be more cautious or try not to get involved. I enjoyed the TV show (which is what sparked my interested in the game initially, but I'm liking game Geralt a lot more because of how snarky he is).

Part of why I hadn't played this game before is because I didn't really get pulled into the game when I initially tried exploring the White Orchard area, but I tried again after sometime and pushed through to Valen, and I felt like the game really opened up.

In addition, Geralt's movement felt really weird to get the hang of, like too fast or janky at times, but I learned about the alternate movement setting and that helped a ton. Last thought, the game also felt too easy at first, but I restarted my playthrough on Death's March, and I felt like it's made me a lot more cautious and the fights are more enjoyable where I can't just spam attacks. In addition, I've been trying to prepare and upgrade all the potions and oils to help with fights.

Any of you guys have a similar experience to me or knew who Anna was initially?

Sidenote: HDR is recording my gameplay whack, why the clip looks faded.
