my dad just turned 60 and signed up for medicare. he needs new glasses but we cant figure out if vision is even included. i think i read somewhere that original medicare doesnt cover routine eye exams but now im second guessing. hes been putting it off cause he doesnt wanna pay out of pocket. does medicare cover vision at all or do we need to look at something separate?

i try to stay on top of the basics like oil changes and brakes, but ill be honest theres definitely stuff i been putting off way longer than i probably should. things like cabin filters, transmission fluid, even coolant sometimes just get pushed back because the car still feels fine. at the same time, ive seen people swear that doing every single recommended service is the reason their honda makes it past 200k without issues.
wondering how you guys handle it. are you strict with the schedule or more of a "deal with it when it shows signs” type?
