Help, doubdt on how to raise funds for an eco friendly – project

I want to promote these technologies; I have an interested community because they are more affordable alternatives to conventional options. The authorities in my country aren't very interested in helping us, so the only viable path we saw was to raise funds to build a test section—I don't need much, just around 8,000 dollars. Does anyone know who I could turn to or where I could go for help?. Please.
