Discount tire completely stripped out my wheel hub and lug bolts. What can I do?
Completely cross threaded and destroyed my wheel hubs. I'm not sure what to do. I barely got the car home, luckily I don't live far. The lug bolts are completely shot as well. I am saying lug bolts on purpose it is a female wheel hub assembly. It's a Mercedes so you know that shop bill ain't going to be cheap. What can I do? I took it apart to find out what was wrong and by the time I did the shop was closed so I haven't spoken to them yet. What's my recourse here? I want them to make up for it but I doubt they will. Is this even provable in small claims? It's not like I have a video of them doing it.
Am I shit out of luck? This fucking sucks.
Edit: it's a discount tire shop, I did not know Discount Tire was the name of a brand. It's just some local re-tread place.
