Does anyone here have experience with counterfeit/fake Chopard Mille Miglia watches?

I’m currently looking at a Mille Miglia, specifically a ref. 8331, and I’m trying to understand how common good-quality fakes of these are.

Have you ever come across a non-authentic Mille Miglia that looked convincing? If so, what were the main giveaways? Dial details, caseback, movement, serial numbers, finishing, etc.?

I’d especially be interested in examples where the watch looked genuine at first glance.

Edit: To clarify, I’m looking for a genuine Chopard Mille Miglia, not a replica. I’m asking about convincing fakes so I know what to look out for and can avoid buying one.
