Question about Chopard L.U.C. XPS Forest Green packaging

Question about Chopard L.U.C. XPS Forest Green packaging

Considering purchasing an XPS that is listed as 'new with original packaging'. I was under the impression that it came with the larger, walnut box. Did Chopard change their packaging or is this not fully original? Thanks in advance!

Tried my friend's Alpine Eagle

Needless to say, I'm hooked! Haven't been this excited over trying something different in a long time!

Chopard watch

Can anyone tell me exactly what type of Chopard watch this is? I've seen it on an auction and regret not buying it :)

Thank you!

Time traveler one black titanium

Love this watch. LUC has to be the best value in high horology pieces in the gray. So under appreciated. Fine by me - I’ll take them all.

Chopard Mille Miglia

I wanted to freshen up this puppy so I put on Shell Cordovan straps that match the hands and sub-dials. Such an underrated piece

36mm Alpine 🦅

I was nervous this would be too small for my 6.5 inch wrist. I’m loving the time with it. I’m glad I picked it up, and might be looking to source a 1.5 link. Does anyone else have one of these in this size? How do you like it? Does anyone have a 1.5 link? Worth the purchase? For me I’m there but when the wrist swells up a bit I feel it and could definitely use a little wiggle room and an extra link is just a bit much.

Thoughts?

Vintage Chopard (1970)

I bought this watch for my girlfriend recently since i realy wanted something special that fits into art deco universe.Cartier was never an option for me. I prefer niche " sleepers " : ) .Im a big admirer of vintage Piagets,Corums,JLCs and obviously - Chopards.I think vintage Chopard is little undervalued at this moment but we need to remember that they were watchmakers first and then later jewelers. So im expecting sooner or later vintage Chopard prices will creep up as they should. Anyhow, its 27 x 27 mm, 5.5 mm tickness, ultra thin mehanical rewinder.Materialwise - its 18 k white gold, onyx stone dial. And very interesting - sapphire glass which was very ahead of time then(70s). Very rare model to find and i odore the look and im sure she will. I might borrow it from time to time since it fits me very good - if i can say so myself : )

Which one next?

Hi All,

These are the 3 options for my next watch. The new JLC is a 38mm and the Chopard is 40mm. Both are very similar in movements with automatic power reserve of 65 to 70 hours. Obviously there are different dial colours, but I’m not against any one. The JLC with the new to them, integrated bracelet holds an interest with me. Although this is not a must have. I look forward to your thoughts.😊
