Is it just me or did something happen over the last few months? As someone who is directionally impaired and travels to new cities a lot for work I am dependent a GPS/ maps app.

Over the last few months a few times I’ll be driving on the highway and it just says “exit in X miles” without actually listing the exit number or road, making it a little harder to figure out if I need to exit or not. Additionally, upon taking an exit it has failed to state which lane I need to be in (which is sometimes critical as the lanes soon go into opposite directions.

The other day the actual map showed the highlighted route turning right, but the arrows were pointing left because it was giving me the next direction which was still half a mile out.

I’ve also had a few instances where it wants me to take a bizarre side route with lots of turns on neighborhood streets when the direct way over a multi-lane road is clearly better.

The final straw was today when I hit the “add stop along route feature” for coffee and it picked a Starbucks that was about a mile out of my way. No big deal other than the fact that it literally wanted me drive past a Starbucks that was about .1 miles out of the way.

Anyway sorry for the rant, just curious if it was just me or anyone else had more issues lately. Switching to Apple Maps now.
