Hi, first post here. I recently expanded from 3x3 cubes into 2x2 and 4x4, and for the 2x2 I bought a GAN 251M Pro from Cubezz based on various recommendations. Out of the box it felt extremely bad, very scratchy and with almost no positive magnet engagement on the corners. I've lubed it and played around with all the settings and while it feels smoother, it still feels totally wrong in terms of feel, since it seems to prefer settling in the middle of a turn and there's resistance before it settles in to the corners. While in the corners it takes very little force to pop it back to the middle of the turn. The magnet strength adjustment seems to add more resistance to the turns but less engagement in the corners.

One thing I've noticed when disassembling is that all the corner piece stalk magnets repel the core magnets at the corners rather than attract, which is the opposite of what I would expect and the opposite of all the other cubes I own, and it explains why it doesn't like to settle in the corners.

Is this in any way normal? It seems wrong but it also seems mad to me that every single core magnet could have the wrong polarity. This is my first GAN cube so quite disappointing QC if that is the case. I just want some validation that something actually is wrong before I either contact Cubezz or try prying out and reversing the core magnets.

Edit: I decided to prise out the core magnets and flip them, definitely would not recommend and not something that anyone should have to do on a "premium" cube. On the other hand that's completely solved the issue and it feels like a regular cube now and not a weird uncomfortable anti-cube. The magnet strength adjust is working properly now as well.
