Asking for a friend. He has an old house and 100 amp sub panel. Adding more is very expensive with all the city and fire codes. He is looking into Tesla Neurio to observe load and intelligently adjust amperage on the wall connector.

However, is there a setting on the vehicle which will limit and remember amperage by location? So he can set it to 40 amps at home and 48 amps otherwise? Doesn't want to adjust on every charge.

If he can do this then there is no need for Neurio.

Any advise?
