After asking for compensation for losing my tokens due to two crashes, I found out that on PC you seem to still be able to matchmaking without tokens for higher levels (double mouse click the locked higher tier), and on Console, you need to level through all escalation missions again.

The crashes are solved, but if one thinks they can spend all their tokens on caches, they will be surprised when they need to level from level 0 escalation missions again. Besides, this makes hosting a mission even more risky when there are server problems.

So because of this, PSA: Always keep 87 tokens in reserve to at least matchmake all tiers.

Lost all tokens due to buying some caches and then 2 crashes in escalation missions. My friends who i normally group with are out of the country, and matchmaking is not possible without tokens.

Are we getting some kind of compensation? Else I should start matchmaking/run level 0 escalations again and work myself up?! This can't be right...

Update: I made a bug report because this does not seem to be as intended. On PC, without tokens, you seem to be able to double-click the higher levels and are still able to matchmaking. On Xbox, and probably all consoles, you are forced to level all escalation levels from 0 again when losing tokens.

Due to this bug on consoles, if you lose all tokens, you need to complete 20 lower levels before you can do level 10 escalation runs again. Besides this, we always need at least 87 tokens in reserve, or we are unable to matchmaking for a Tier 10. On PC you can buy caches for that 87 tokens it seems and still matchmake.
