Wage & Income Transcript No Data Found
I'm still waiting for my refund. Got the CP05 letter. Every time I check the Wage & Income transcript for 2025 it says No Data found. I haven't worked for two years, so I don't have W2 or 1099 from an employer, but I do have an investment portfolio with an investment firm.
Well, I had never even known about IRS transcripts until this year with my refund delay. So out of curiosity I looked up my Wage & Income transcript from 2024 and there were 139 pages of information from the investment firm! The bulk of it is 1099-B Proceeds, then some others like 1099 DIV and 1099 INT, a 1099-R, a Form 5498 and a Schedule K-1. I called my financial advisor and asked her about it, and she said that all of that gets submitted electronically to the IRS.
Is this just a normal delay because of short-staffing issues, etc., and it will eventually be uploaded, or is there something wrong?
