Help Finding John Moffatt’s Orient Express CD

I‘m hoping someone can help me out here. When Michael Blakewell’s radio adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express aired, between 1992 and 1993, it was originally broadcasted in five parts with intro recaps from the character of Monsieur Bouc. Does anyone know which specific CD issue features the complete broadcast with the intros? Or is the five-part version only available on the BBC’s website now?

Whitehaven Mansions Illustrated

We all know Florin Court as Whitehaven Mansions in the ITV adaptations. It is a beautiful Art Deco/Moderne building, but perhaps had too many curves for the original textual Poirot’s liking. So here’s my attempt at rectifying that, and series inspiration from a couple of real life residential buildings both in the UK and the USA, with a hint of PWA Art Deco.

Poirot’s thoughts on the Art Deco style

Agatha Christie has written Hercule Poirot with a fondness for cleanlines, square shaped objects and symmetry. In The ABC Murders, Hastings shares that Poirot likely chose Whitehaven Mansions for its symmetrical structure. In other stories, the interior of Poirot’s apartment has been described as a “large luxury flat with impeccable chromium fittings, square armchairs, and severely rectangular ornaments” in Mrs. McGinty’s Dead.

The description makes it clear Poirot favors the modernist movement and possible a version of Streamline Moderne without the curves. However, there has been an instance where I’ve seen mentioned that Poirot thought of Art Deco along the lines of being ostentatious or gaudy for his liking.

I wonder if anyone knows which novel or short story has Poirot express the statement, either directly or a passing mention?

Rare Agatha Christie Media - Murder by the Book

Murder by the Book is a unique made for TV film from the mid 1989’s depicting Agatha Christie (portrayed by Peggy Ashcroft) having a meeting with her fictional detective, Hercule Poirot (portrayed by Ian Holm).

According to Christie scholar Dr. Mark Aldridge, Murder by the Book’s original film negatives no longer exists, so all that exists are rare VHS’ and Laserdiscs. Recently, I managed to find a genuine Laserdisc of it, and hopefully the quality on this will be better than the VHS copies that are around online.
