I've seen several references online to a 3.5 variant rule by which a magic item could be tattooed onto a person's body at twice the cost of the physical item. But I've not been able to find the actual rule anywhere. Does anyone remember this and know where I could find it?

Does anyone have this? I'm curious about the actual content. Does it contain new quest hooks, or is it just a repackaging of information from the Monster Grimoire?
