Hey everyone,
I’ve put over 400 hours into Borderlands 4, and I need to vent a bit about the latest patch. I’m honestly baffled by the 50 percent nerf to the Dancer class mod.

I’m not even just mad about the power loss—I’m frustrated by the logic behind it. The Dancer was the only class mod that actually felt viable for high-level endgame. By cutting its effectiveness in half without buffing anything else, Gearbox hasn't created "build diversity"—they’ve just made the character feel worse to play.

Why nerf the only usable option if there is nothing else to pivot to?
• The other class mods are still underperforming and don't offer any real synergy.
• Even after a 50 percent nerf, there is still no reason to use the other mods because they are objectively worse.

• It feels discouraging to spend hundreds of hours perfecting a build only to have it gutted without a "Plan B" provided by the devs.
A nerf should encourage us to try new things. But right now, there is nothing "new" worth trying. It just feels like a flat reduction in fun.

Please, Gearbox—if you’re going to nerf the top-tier gear, you have to bring the rest of the class mods up to a competitive level. Right now, we’re just left with a weaker version of what we had, with zero exciting alternatives.

Curious to hear what you guys think. Is anyone actually switching to a different mod now, or are we all just stuck with a weaker Dancer?
