So, I was trying to do the quest to go to Vheabos VI, but I have to fight two frigates before going to the planet.

I don’t last long at all and I’m pretty sure it’s because I’ve neglected to do anything with my void ship lol. During the battle I discovered there’s a whole void management tab where I can upgrade the ship and assign posts and all of that. I was embarrassed, but here’s the thing.

The game 100% encourages and even pushes you to complete main quests as fast as possible. Like, immediately. If you take too long to get to some world there are pretty significant consequences. Conversely, if you go to a world right away, it’s beneficial to you.

This appears to be a disconnect with how RPGs are meant to be played and how the game pushes you forward. I have a lot of Rumors in my log and some companion quests as well as other stuff, but I’ve neglected to do a lot of it because the game is telling me TO DO THIS NOW.

So, I’m a little frustrated. I’d love to take my time and explore and scan planets, establish colonies, etc. But the game seems to want me to chase the plot. There’s lots of cool stuff I’d really like to do in this game and am enjoying it for the most part, but how can I experience all of it if the game is going to punish me for taking my time?

Seems to be a very weird design choice.

Does waiting to go to a main quest planet only count if you decide to go to another main quest world first? Does it not count if you do side quests and exploration first? Because I really need to level up my ship and focus on that for a while.

I was just experimenting with Seedance 2.0 and did a quick video of a dark character in shadows. Would love your thoughts and feedback!

There was a great quote from Pinhead about suffering that came from, I think Hellraiser: Bloodline.

It was when Pinhead entered Bobbi's house (I think?) and threatened to take her kid.

The quote was something like, "They say the greatest pain is the loss of a child," or something like this. And then I think he says you suffer beautifully. I can't remember. I've been looking for this quote all over the internet but I cannot find it.

It only lists the most well known Pinhead quotes over and over again.

Does anyone know what the full quote is? It's actually my favorite quote of his because it's truly haunting. It's not a flex or aura farming, it's simply factual. About suffering and the loss of a child.
