I wonder how well this would go over wearing in a church?
Necromentia (2009) feels like it wants to be Hellraiser so bad. Sorta mediocre movie but might be right for this crowd
I watched this movie last night and was perplexed by the awesome potential with a rather weak follow-through. Touching on themes of death, hell, S&M, love and pain, I felt myself drawing parallels between the two as the plot follows the story of separate men whose lives become intertwined as they explore gateways into Hell. There's a couple of twists and surprises that really make the movie as good as it is (which still isn't much), which is why I'm being as nonspecific as possible.
I will say, though, that the creature on the cover is absolutely Chatterer, and it isn't the only cenobite-esque monster in the movie (just without the black leather). Also, their idea of exploring a gateway to hell reminds me of the section in the book where it's mentioned the other techniques. Something along the lines of origami that could open doorways, Sade taught a guard in exchange for the paper needed to write his book.
Overall, I'd say 5/10 for the storytelling and theme. It's worth the watch if you have nothing better to do but not worth going out of your way or paying for.
Pinhead collector doll by Jakks Pacific arriving later this year
reliable doll industry leaker u/SeeingMount has broken the news that pinhead will be part of the debut lineup of jakks pacific’s “haus of dread” collector doll line! no photos or description yet (photos shown are mockups & examples of previous jakks pacific products), but we know pinhead will be getting an 11” fashion doll and a mini keychain-sized doll. i’ve always wanted a pinhead fashion doll (i made my own, i think there’s photos on my profile) so this is VERY exciting news to me!

Saw someone posted the Screamin’ Ad here is the set I painted a couple years ago.
Frank
We’re currently working on finishing up a 1:1 Frank based off when he first comes back in the attic 🤗
What is this? Found during low tide on the coast of California
Any help identifying what this is or what it’s from? My theory is some piece pottery I’m just curious how old it could be.

The Hellbound Heart Cenobite by Cinemamind
I don’t know if this has been posted yet, but it’s one of my favorite depictions of the Cenobites. This artist manages to capture the hungry eyes, clothing sewn to skin, the painful rawness of their wounds, and their bioluminescence that the movie wasn’t able to — practically alien.

Hellraiser Inspired Earrings
I've been a fan of the franchise for a long time & the bloody writing on the wall has to still be one of my favorite images in the series. I liked it so much I turned the tiled wall into some handpainted earrings - I've even made a larger wall art piece out of the same material too. Probably one of my favorite things I've ever worked on! It's always funny to hear the comments from people unfamiliar with the series when they see me wear them haha.
True Form Angels/Heaven would be terrifying if Clive Barker ever wrote them in
We all know that the Order Of The Gash/Cenobites in the Hellraiser franchise look like absolute nightmare fueled abominations with torn up/sliced flesh, their bodies decorated with hooks and leather to show a sense of fashion/otherworldly design but I have to ask everyone have you seen/read what the true form of Angels from Heaven are meant to look like to our reality when they don't look like humans with wings?
It makes the Cenobites seem tame as hell.
Some of the descriptions claim they are giant wings with a singular eye in the middle of the body to look
There are descriptions of Angels looking like the sphere from Event Horizon but with wings and eyes all over it instead of spikes.
One angel "Cherubim" is described as an entity with multiple faces composed of a human, lion, ox and an eagle with wheels covered in eyes.
I mean could you imagine Clive Barker introducing the idea of Angels or their "true forms" into the series as an antagonist or protagonist to the heroes against Leviathan? I would probably shit myself tbh.
I think my wife is going to freak out with joy when she sees her new purse.
The box and Leviathan
When Pinhead changes the box into the diamond, Leviathan is a diamond, then when its changed back into the box leviathan becomes the box.
Does that mean Leviathan changes into whatever configuration the box is in? Or is it that only happens when the box is reconfigured inside hell?
