Boss wants me to fly to another state for a week. Any issues flying from the DC airport ?

I’m stumped. I’m taking a vacation in August and I plan on buying an xpedition 2.0. Plus the bike I already have a folding lectric xp. However I have a small 2015 c max and I have no idea how to transport that bike on the car keeping in mind the trip is 9 hours there then 9 hours back in the highway. Any ideas please help
