Did my IQ change?
A few years ago, midway through college, I was trying to figure out why I was doing poorly academically, and I wondered if IQ was the cause. I remembered seeing a score of 119 on some paperwork from when I was 15 or 16, but I wasn't sure it was accurate or representative. So I took the AGCT and a 1980s SAT, scoring 130 and 1300 respectively.
The real cause turned out to be ADHD, and I started medication (and also forgot about this sub mostly).
I'm 24 now and recently took the old SAT again for fun, using form 5H from the older files list. I scored 1470 (750 V, 720 M). I haven't taken any other IQ assessments since, but I did take a cold GRE diagnostic test since I’m planning to do a masters next year. Scored a 336 (170 V, 166 Q). I don’t know if this is higher or lower than a 1470 old SAT. Did my IQ change post-medication?
