I’m trying to figure out what is best for museum layouts.

I’m currently building my museums as one flow. So they come in the entrance then walk a long path past every exhibit and then exit through the gift shop (very IKEA).

But I keep seeing people saying that’s not how the visitor AI works and they’re instead suggesting a central area with each exhibit / theme branching off from a center so visitors can go direct to where they wanna go.

Does anyone actually know how guest AI works?

And is there a definitive better layout / why?
