Not sure if this is compliant to subreddit rules, but I was checking the stocks today and this headline caught my eye. While a cause hasn’t been given, he likely passed from Lewy body dementia. Ted Turner, while never running for an elected office afaik, did have a major role in shaping modern US politics not just with CNN but his advocacy for environmentalism and overall liberal leaning. Like it or hate it, CNN has been a very influential network and I bet it’d be hard to imagine a world without it. He will be gravely missed. ❤️
