the writers are fucking dumb. this show had so much hype built up, they even created a whole 2nd show to build up said hype.
they created a 2nd Odessa supe, Marie Monroe, who literally can one shot any villain thrown at her.
She was supposed to join the boys at the end of GenV season 2. Yet she was essentially written out the season.
Starlights line is aggregating because Marie literally one shots not only starlight, but any character in this entire universe besides a select 2 or 3.
she can explode them on will. Or she can render them powerless and levitate 5 supes at once, incapacitating them.
she is a necromancer, she can heal mortal wounds and fatal illness, she can heal psychological illness within the brain.
she has blood whips like butcher, she has blood spikes, not to mention she can do all the things we’ve seen Neumann do.
she is literally OP.
it’s why they wrote her out of the show.
starlight has no right to say that when she’s literally getting tossed around by Dogpaw in the same episode (who Marie could literally EXPLODE without opening her eyes)
in fact, even the fight with the all-father, Marie would have one shotted him.
its retarded to write out the better character simply bc they’re OP when it’s the final season and I feel like the main characters deserved more badass heavyweights imo.
