I want to turn off the voice prompts. IE:

• Turn on headphones -> "battery 3 hrs and 15 minutes. Connected to <device name>"
• Walk out of the room "<laptop name> disconnected"
• Walk back into the room "<laptop name> connected"

Previously, I was able to do this through the app. Like everyone else, I have found the app to be completely broken. It is an endless cycle of add device -> connecting -> failed to connect. I have tried:

• clearing the cache
• clearing app data
• uninstalling the app
• reinstalling the app
• power cycling the headphones
• holding down the power button until it clears the device list
• forgetting / re-pairing with the phone

Nothing works and it seems there is just no way to connect the headphones to the app.

The ONLY reason I really want to connect them is to turn off the voice prompts. If there's another way to do it, then I don't need the bose app at all.

I'm hoping someone here knows a way to disable it.
