2017 GMC terrain SLT 3.6 binding on turns

I have a 3.6L V6 2017 with 125K miles and when I make extreme turns in a parking lot, it feels like the car is binding and it needs gas to move. It doesn't feel normal. I bought this car used only a few months ago and based on some posts I found on the internet it looks like the AWD system is binding.

Has anyone experienced this before? Could this be from the transfer case and would a transfer case fluid change (OEM spec) fix this? I will be going to a mechanic shop in a few days but checking if anyone has faced something similar.

Also, it drives fine when straight and the problem seems noticeable when making extreme turns at slower speeds.

2017 Terrain V6 3.6L LFX

Hello all, I plan to buy a used 2017 terrain SLT which has the 3.6L V6 LFX engine and 125K miles on it. The car is in an good condition considering the age and the current owner has maintained it well.

Checking online I found out some mixed reviews on this engine. Some say that by 2017 GM fixed the timing chain issue on the LFX Variant.

Can anyone here tell if this engine variant is fine or bad in terms of reliability? I do understand that maintenance is important but trying to understand if it has any inherent design problems.
