The original Zowie G-SR is perfect for me and I'm trying to find a replacement. I don't want the G-SR II and III because I've seen too many people say it's much faster. Please recommend pads that are as close to the original G-SR.

It can be slower but not too much, and not faster. For reference I found the Gigantus Elite too slow and too thick. Bonus if it's desk sized.
