Is this an acceptable gap between the door threshold and the subfloor? Previously it was flush on top.
Had my front door replaced and they said they needed to replace the subfloor due to rot. But now the subfloor sticks out underneath the threshold when previously it was flush on top. I’m worried it will allow water straight into that new subfloor. Yes I will paint it to match and it will look much better but that is just the cosmetic piece.
