Mix n Mat h session next week with Faction comparisons!

Going from the largest soulplate I've ever skated back to the smallest soulplate on a skate that won't break!

Picked up a pair of all metal rocker arm Fiziks the other day and decided to swap them out with my Create Originals CRS frames.

I like both frames for the suspension aspect. Both completely different setups.

The Creates, with 60mm wheels are about 5mm taller than the Fiziks with 57mm wheels.

They both feel different, ride different and the fiziks have a much stiffer feel. You can feel the suspension in both frames, but I think I can feel it more in the Fiziks, mostly due to being broken in more.

Love both setups, but im gonna ride the Fiziks for a while.

Practiced hard on negatives and topsides today. First time attempting negative soul. It's pretty difficult on angle iron and I got this barely tap neg soul.

I'm gonna keep at it. Now that I know its possible for me to do, I think I'll be able to get better at it and Negative Acid. It's all about bringing that negative knee in over the ledge

I was finally able to unlock mistrial on the curved ledge I've been skating! It was so satisfying. Also, my second attempt during this session. These Factions are so great. I highly recommend them!

Had my first session on the Jimmy Cisz Factions today.

I gotta say, these skates are amazing. Idk what took me so long to try factions, but they are very much an old school skate feel.

When they lock on, they really lock on. So much fun today

These are too clean! I can't wait to skate these, but i don't want to mess them up!

Maybe some of Jimmy's negative skills will rub off on me lol 😆

For those out there that are good at negatives, I need tips and advice.

How do I approach trying new negative tricks?

What are some tips for maintaining longer grinds on angle iron ledges (it's what I have to work with most)?

I can land a pretty solid neg p star. I can sometimes tap a neg acid and I am currently working on getting better at my neg mistrial.

I neg with either foot depending on the type of grind.

Finally got to skate my new setup with the cuff pushed back a little bit more. Felt more like an og 2.0 than a new Shadow.
