What a great game!
Hello everyone, first post ever, have only been lurking for years on reddit with no real account and I want to express my gratitude as this community is the ONLY community that I don’t feel any hesitation any more to post my creations.
My factories are surely flawed surely not efficient but I’m taking it really slow and try to tweak, redesign and apply the experience I gain while making those mistakes in order to create a facility that could be considered realistic, I couldn’t resist the temptation to incorporate mods on my first playthrough mainly for aesthetic reasons.
I’m using mods for extra pieces for foundations, catwalks, beams and such. I’m also using the cartographer mod and some for building actual curved roads as I really want to create a logistics network that utilises all available tools from belts to drones and everything else.
Just entered phase 4 but I won’t go forward with it until I can feel I’m happy with everything I ve created so far. Still tons of work to do mainly to enclose my factories and come up with a standard design for most of them.
I love pipes and how they add another dimension to the design of a factory and even though it’s not really needed I love the idea of a mall.
A big thank you to all of you who post your creations and advices daily. Without them I wouldn’t have enjoyed the game as much. All screenshots are work in progress as I keep rethinking and adjusting as facilities grow in size.
