I'm new to pellet smoking. I got these because they seemed cheaper than anything I could find and in general ($13 for 40 lbs) and I like Costco products. I've done pork butte and jerky and have been happy with the results.

With that said, I have nothing to compare them to. Are other more expensive pellets better?
