Looking for recommendations for a Kentucky Online Notary familiar with e-Apostille

Hi everyone,

I'm a Chinese citizen currently outside the U.S. I need to notarize a Charles Schwab account statement by signing a True Copy Affidavit, and the notarized PDF will later be submitted for a Kentucky e-Apostille.

Has anyone worked with a Kentucky Remote Online Notary (RON) who has experience with international clients and foreign passports?

I'm looking for recommendations or experiences rather than advertisements. Thanks!

Applying for Mexico Temporary Resident Visa (Financial Solvency) as a TOURIST in Central/South America or the Caribbean? Which consulates allow this?

Hi everyone,

I am a third-country national (non-US, non-Canadian, non-Mexican citizen) looking to apply for the Mexico Temporary Resident Visa via the Financial Solvency route.

For logistical reasons, I cannot return to my home country to apply, and I cannot get into the US/Canada.

My plan is to travel to a country in Central America, South America, or the Caribbean, enter on a standard tourist visa/stamp, and do my interview at the Mexican embassy there.

I know that Mexican immigration law requires proof of "legal estancia" (legal stay), but many consulates strictly interpret this as requiring a local residency card (like a RUT, CPF, DNI, etc.) and will reject anyone who is just a tourist.

I already meet the worldwide financial requirements, so my only bottleneck is finding a consulate that is "Tourist friendly."

Has anyone successfully done their interview while on a tourist stamp in any LatAm or Caribbean country recently?

  • Which specific embassies/consulates allowed you to apply as a pure tourist? (e.g., Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Dominican Republic, etc.)
  • Were there any issues with them accepting bank statements from a third country (in English/fully translated)?
  • How long did it take to get an appointment?

Any recent DP (Data Points) or advice would be highly appreciated. Thank you!
