asking a question as a Catholic myself

Are non-sexual romantic relationships with the same sex really a sin? personally i dont see it as a sin since for me its basically the same as a heterosexual relationship.

i am a straight minor and im partly struggling w my faith because of this since i am strongly against discrimination and homophobia, yet i see a lot of Catholics/Christians say that it is a sin, although they only say its a sin when the relationship is sexual.

does this guy like me or not?

okay so I've been losing my mind over this for a pretty long time

we were playing a game during like this garage sale held by our church group that was essentially pass the message but instead of a message its drawing and he was sitting beside a person who got a card (that nobody else should be allowed to see) so he moved beside me AND HE STAYED THERE THE WHOLE TIME.

he also (i think, i could be delusional) stared at me
