Basically hit him once and he's takes 0 dmg and is rewarded I frames

Simple right but the problem begins when you look at its cooldown and the fact he can cd reset with sa. This allows him to just spam gamma giving him loads of invincibility. It's also heavily counters close range fighters since he can immediately tank and then counter whatever you throw at him due to his I frames

They gotta make it so you can only use it at 100% and increase the cd time

Also God forbid this guy has electrification

For those who don't know strike dabi got a buff at the start of the season that allows him to use his gamma explosion at any given time

I don't really like the change, his pre buff gamma hardcounters any melee ranged character but this change makes it even worse. You basically can't engage in close or medium ranged combat with him or you'll eat flame.

If you're in the range there's genuinely nothing you can do. You can't avoid the attack and it does insane damage. He can also spam the explosion due to its short cooldown. It's super good for area control, covering teamates since it also blocks projectiles and is a guaranteed wake up catch

Don't really like dabis design either. Beta may be easy to dodge but doing +250 dmg on singular move with optimal tunning isn't healthy. Both his beta and gamma hit for +200 dmg on their own.

Letting him manually explode is like letting yafo instantly do his huge gamma explosion or a short cd

Feel like the change should've came with compensation nerfs like either cd nerfs or range nerf on the manual explosion only

Nagant nerfs were brutal all 250hp, 1 gamma, 100dp ~50 dmg alpha with 7 ammo, and ~120 & 230 dmg sa on a 17 sec cd

All jokes aside this is kinda sad, a 250hp strike hitting for 50 dmg

Wonder if the community will cry for her to be buffed after awhile like they did with twice back in the day

After fire force ended I picked up soul eater, finished the anime, manga and NOT. Liked it more than fire force. All the music was great aswell especially one of the video game songs, Souls Crossing by T.M Revolution

I see some players complain about why some characters aren't in the patch. Devs have clearly stated thr huge patch containing nagant merfs will be on 7/29 when s18 begins

Ridiculous dmg, I wonder how the devs are gonna tackle nagant

Won't get the full dmg beta often unless opponents are suffering from endlag, stun or were caught off guard.

Oh and please don't be a bum and say "deserved for playing froppy"

For those who don't know devs are gonna be drop a huge patch on 7/8 and 7/29, they plan to adjust characters who have had an high wr for more than 6 months and in that message nagant was the only character called out

Ofc they are gonna adjust other characters aswell but kinda funny how she was the only one mentioned

Anywho what do yall think about the current meta, in terms of balancing I've seen people say the whole roster needs nerfs

Would yall want every character to be on like twice and mt lady's level? Low dmg output, "skill" required and so on

Wouldn't want this myself since I like the chaotic-ness of the game, Zone would be too short for something like this, insta revives and teamheals would become more problematic and so on, ofc changes could be made abt that. Not saying everyone should stay the same as they are now, ofc most characters need nerfs

Majority of the community have shown they don't like or are too lazy to learn (meta slaves), Sns and Mirko have a relatively low playrate

I've noticed devs seem to be going for releasing more "balanced" characters with how most of the recent drops aren't broken and the top tiers of today are just characters from s14 (your favorites aam, nagant and ofa) and backwards most likely due to how much the community complained about s14

What are yalls thoughts on this?
