Ai Slop

Seeing the AI-generated logo for Unearthed completely crushed my excitement for the maze in general. I’m so disappointed at whoever cleared this, especially with the many references to hand-drawn art and sketches made during the maze creator Q&A panel. Step it up, Knotts.

New Maze Teasers

Looks like we’re getting a 1920s-30s cartoon artist maze with a cartoon seemingly coming to life at xcelerator and a maze about a sci-fi expedition to find something deep underground that goes wrong at the mystery lodge!

Xcelerator Maze Facade Update 7/29

Looks like an art deco 1920s-30s theater which is an interesting choice for being right next to cinema slasher and the goring 20s.

Maze Pathing

With the two new mazes, our old pathing strategy of working counter-clockwise around the park and ending in the Ghost Rider mazes is no more. Being at two different ends of the park, has anyone theorized a path to take to hit as many mazes with short lines as possible?

Black Magic Facade Still Exists in 2026

As stated in the title, the Black Magic facade is still standing to this day at California’s Great America. In 2021, the final year of the Halloween Haunt, this maze was Wax Museum: Blackout. Rethemed to match the surrounding area, the facade still stands at the original maze building, now repurposed as a storage building as shown in the last image. This is located right behind the pendulum ride, Delirium.
