Are there any fics where Draco is doing the hot-cold treatment and Hermione just gets sick of it and walks away and doesn’t wait for him to sort his s*** out? Hopefully HEA/Dramione endgame but I wouldn’t mind one where she finds a good life and he’s just miserable on the sidelines watching what could have been his life.

My eloquence escapes me this morning but I think you all get what I’m saying lol

I swear the first Dramione fanfic is a gateway drug.

Six months ago I innocently thought, “I’ll just read this one everyone keeps recommending.”

Fast forward to today:
I have abandoned actual published books.
I literally put off reading the final book in a series I’ve been invested in… to finish a fanfic.
My TBR has reached geological proportions and will almost certainly be completed posthumously.

I’m in my 40s. I genuinely thought I was beyond this phase of obsessive fictional hyperfixations. Instead I’m over here ranking my favorite versions of Draco Malfoy like he’s a real ex-boyfriend with multiple personalities.

Please tell me I’m not alone with “oh no… this has become a full-blown addiction” moment? My self discovery was somewhere between staying up until 3 a.m. and reading during work.

I need to know there are others like me or if I should add this to the list of things I’m unpacking with my therapist lol

I am reading Perfectly in Pieces. It is so far great 12 chapters in, but it is hitting me heavier than manacled and secrets and masks combined. If you’re in a mental space for a fic like that, I highly recommend it.

I personally need to take a break and continue it later.

I need some fluff, cinnamon roll Draco, happy happy joy joy fics, I just need some good vibes right now.

I know that real relationships are messy, but right now I need to read something fluffy where there’s no question about their love and there are no side relationships, just other circumstances that make things difficult. Something like moon river or in between.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy angst and pining but I also think they would make a killer team. Looking for fics where they are united or together and the drama happens around them, they defy traditions etc.
