Anyone know anything about this building?

Hi Guys,

I originally applied for this lottery back in March of this year- they immediately sent me an application, I called the following month and they said all units were occupied.

Over the weekend I get an email to submit all documents by 8/18- I’m assuming an application fell through or someone backed out.

Does anyone have an idea on this building? Great area but I see that the building is mixed with supportive housing. I know there’s one in Dumbo available for immediate occupancy like this and I heard it was a nightmare. Any intel on W 108th would be appreciated!

Application Review Process

Hey Everyone,

I’m trying to understand the next steps in the review process- I was selected to submit documents for a lottery in Manhattan over the weekend after applying to countless amounts of lotteries over the last 10 years. I submitted the required documents before the 8/7 deadline( they only were looking for four valid forms of documents: two paystubs, SS Card, and ID..not even bank statements, W2’s or past lease.. which I was surprised because they asked for a lot more when I was selected 8 years ago- which in the end I wasn’t qualified for).

I did hear the sooner you submit your documents, the more chances you’ll get your application processed and possibly the size unit you want( I know they ultimately select the unit for you if approved).

How long after you submit documents does it usually take to hear back from the marketing agent? Also I tried using the email for the marketing agent that Housing Connect provided, but it ended up being an invalid email. I know it’s a waiting game, but I’m open to any and all advice.

NEW EDIT

What happens if you subleased month to month as your last place of residence? Would they just need a signed and notarized letter confirming my residency with payments as proof?

Thanks everyone!
