Ferrari 458 italia!!!
Finally scored one at a decent price on EBay that I want to actually build and not just keep as a collector. Came with details and masking! Wheel choice is in the clouds though. 🤷🏻♂️

Did some more work on the 5.0 last night and today, getting it to a stage where it’s being a replica of a “rebuild car” like it’s in the shop. Looking for Jack stands or a lift to add to the build since I won’t have suspension or wheels on it.
Done with the snap kit and it was so nice and everything fit perfectly! Tried to do the panel base liner on the door lines and stuff but didn’t work right since the body is cleared already. Came out pretty cool and added some extra details to make it look real.
Details are looking fresh! Love this damn snap kit lol no stress on making it perfect, sanding, using putty and all that jazz, just all the hard things that comes to us building a difficult kit. Gotta say it’s an A+ in my book this kit for the win.
Cleaned the hobby bench and pulled out a refresher kit to make me feel better. Just doing this one for fun to take off the edge from that Hellcat build wheew!
All done with this one, not as good as I thought it would turn out but I am okay with it. Next one I know what to sand down first before paint and putting together. Overall this was a pretty cool kit and went together well. I built this as a curbside kit so I could use the engine and tranny in some other kit. Paint I used was hobby lobby iridescent emerald green over white primer, gold wheels were custom mixed paint, interior was custom galaxy black I made and custom brown for the seats. Nothing custom on this just a stock box build. Suspension in the rear didn’t quite pan out as I wanted either.
Some update on my hellcat build, really happy with the way the color came out (hobby lobby brand emerald green over white primer) custom made gold for the wheels, custom made brown for the interior. Hopefully it will all be completed this weekend. Used mesh from drywall tape to mimic carbon fiber with a black metallic base and dark silver over it using the mesh as a mask.
Did some more work today on my hardbody, made a scratch built sub box, and some other little details getting this on dialed in. Used some subs from the lancer kit and an amp looking piece from the parts box lol got some leather on the interior and some 3d airride parts mounted temporarily just to see where I want them in the end.
Got some work done on the 5.0, this thing is going together great. Hopefully it will all go together well in the end since I pre cut and sanded and did fitment tests on most of everything .
Decided to do this one really quick as a weekend treat to relax from work. Should be pretty fun. Let’s goooo!!
Got some fun kits that I’ve been wanting for some amazing pricing. The kit in the bag is the 93 sting ray lll kit that I got for $5 and the GT-90 for $7.50, all the others I got cheaper than the regular kits at hobby lobby on sale day! All factory sealed but 2.
No mixing and just ready to spray out of my brand new cordless airbrush on a test spoon, let dry for 2 hours now and it still looks pretty damn good and shiny. Makes the iridescent paint pop.
I make fender skirts for my kits out of random plastic pieces from other kits to be honest lol this one I started for the good ol 61 impala that’s a favorite classic of mine, had some extra plastic sides from a race trailer that was perfect to cut for skirts. I had cut them out with some snips and razor blades after I traced the wheel well of the Impala onto the extra plastic pieces. Once I got them cut I shaped and I sanded lightly the front and back just to have better fitment. Sanded the whole skirt, double check fitment, put in place then a small dot of glue to see if that will work or not. I always check and sand multiple times before actually gluing in place for good.
Been sanding this kit today to get it prepped for paint but now I am stuck on which color to execute. I am feeling the iridescent crimson but had visions of the pine green look with gold wheels and saddle interior
Challenging myself to get this completed as a memorial inspired truck, should be pretty fun since I wont deal with the engine details just focus on paint scheme. There is a ton of parts in this one though lol
Even made some beer cans from sprues I’m gonna use to throw in with it. Also mixed my own custom pearl red for this.
I was at battle with multiple bidders for that damn F50 lol
The F150 I am currently working on I decided to make some color choices to see the way I want to go with this bagged and bodied curbside kit. These colors dry a completely different color in the iridescent line.
I’ve been wanting this Caddy for the longest time. Everything is perfect condition in bags and the other 2 kits are factory sealed!
WIP 97 ford f150 bagged truck
Been working on this snap kit as a bagged truck. I made some wheel tubs and cutting to get everything to fit. Made the tubs out of the wheels of the ford hauler kit, used the extra plastic from that to complete it, this is really turning into a fun kit. Also shaved the whole bed, taillights, tailgate, gas door.
Hats off to the builders of these amazing kits for this show! *these are not my builds people, just the last pic is my truck.
My question.. When I “bag and bodydrop” a model kit I try to do like the full suspension and bags, 4 links and what not to get it to lay flat. These guys and gals that build these show quality cars and trucks are they technically curbside where they don’t make suspension and modify it like if it was a real car? Just curious since I’ve never seen the bottom of these cars. The last pic is a 55 Chevy I am working on along with the suspension and frame work.
