Visiting Luxembourg for the first time next month
I’m currently in Switzerland on my first trip to Europe, and next month I’ll be visiting Luxembourg for the first time as well.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel in Asia, Africa and the Americas, but Europe is still very new to me. Luxembourg in particular is somewhere I know relatively little about beyond what you normally find in travel guides, so I’m genuinely curious about what it actually feels like to spend time there.
What should I expect when it comes to the people, food, weather, everyday atmosphere, or just the general rhythm of life?
And for those who live there, is there anything about Luxembourg that visitors tend to misunderstand, overlook, or only realise once they actually spend some time there?
Would love to hear any thoughts, even if they’re completely subjective.
