New home office- sound proofing recommendations
Hi! I’m moving into an apartment that has an office room that I’ll be using for my telehealth. I’m trying to figure out what will be most helpful keeping sound in. One wall connects to my neighbors living room and another connects to the hallway.
I’ve been looking at acoustic panels, but I’ve been told that anything under 1” thick is worthless and most that aren’t just black foam are .4”
Anyone have recommendations? Do I need to just bite the bullet and spend a bunch of money hoping I get something back on taxes? or are there budget friendly options?
