Hey Reddit

So me and my girlfriend are over travelling around on a working holiday visa and we’ve been in Adelaide for a couple of weeks now (planning on staying for a while with family) and just can’t seem to hear anything back from anywhere regarding jobs, both me and my girlfriend have over 10 years in hospitality and I’ve got labouring experience but neither of us seem to hear back from anything.

We’re about to go hand out CVs to local hotels and coffee shops but I’ve read that that’s often pointless but we’re running out of ideas at this point. If anyone has any good websites, forums, recommendations or even any good job centres I’d be really grateful.

We do also RSAs and I’m about to go get a white card this week.

Going to start out with my god is the levelling male bovine excrement in Johto, definitely had a lot of fun with this one though. I’ve played through these games plenty of times but never with traded mons so was fun to use ones I wouldn’t normally have access to.

I’ll jump straight to the fallen, Garuda 2 the doduo was my MVP early game, didn’t intend her to be but my lord she went ham on everything before Whitney, not that Whitney was the one to take her out though, that would be the double battle with Clefable and Wigglytuff, I had a bit too much faith that she could take more but alas, she could not. RIP first of the OGs to fall

The first actual death of the run though was Dwayne the Geodude who just couldn’t get over his love for the cow, and due to not having the best answers for it (I had full faith I wouldn’t need them, whoops) I elected to blow him up to ensure the win.

Next was Skinwalker the Sudowoodo, she was a sack against silver in victory road but she was a longtime HM slave and will be missed.

Finally Donny, my guy, it always hurts to lose a starter but Donny was a rough one. Named for my girlfriends first Pokémon, (PLA Cindaquil) he had been a team member the whole run, he was the first time I used weather on a mon in a challenge run and my god he was a nuke when set up! Problem was lance switched from charizard to a dragonite when my blastoise was in and I didn’t know if it was the thunder one or not so I assessed that I wanted to swap, sent in Guzzle and got hit for more damage than I thought. So I needed a sack to get Yuka in who could clean from there. Pan left to Donny I’m afraid. I was looking at it from who was most replaceable and who offered the least going forward. He may be gone, but definitely not forgotten.

But yeah woo hoo, bye bye level curve hello my first and favourite region, Pearl was my first game so Sinnoh will always have a special place and I’m looking forward to what will be my 4th attempt at a nuzlocke in this region. Wish me luck and see you all when I’m done!!
