I died on the E4 last time I did this (hardcore) Nuzlocke and I didn't plan out the game enough so this time I'm taking no chances lol.

I also put the E4 and Champion teams on my door so I burn them into my brain and can come up with a solid plan and final team for this game. I also put the type chart over my computer since there are interactions I always forget (like why the hell is rock weak to ground??) and I truly have never memorized the resistances.

Hi everyone, about to embark on Victory Road, not worried about the journey as my box is insane.

Looking ahead to Elite Four I'm trying to lockdown my 6 pokemon who will smash it. Important note: Krookadile is Intimidate, not moxie unfortunately.

What I've currently thought of:

Shauntai: Zoroark sets up with Nasty Plot while disguised as Jellicent in the back to bait Shadow Balls then sweeps whole team gg ez

Grimsley: Escavalier sets up with Swords Dance then sweeps the whole team. Leftovers will keep him healthy. gg ez

Caitlyn: Zoroark sets up with Nasty Plot while disguised as Jellicent in the back to bait Psychic then sweeps whole team gg ez

Marshal: Cry and prey? Jellicent does stuff, I can't see a safe line though. Maybe just whole 6 team effort. I can't exactly figure out Marshal.

Iris: Draco Plate Flygon will outspeed and OHKO Hydreigon and then I tempo with hopefully 6 pokemon gg ez I will work this out, I beat Ghetsis on vibes alone.

Hi all just a quick update on how my run is going from my post 2 days ago. This is the last point I’ve usually been able to reach consistently though.

With 4 deaths in the box I’m on my way to the league now. Wish me luck.

First off I apologize for the photo. I didn’t think I’d be one of those people who takes a picture of their screen with their phone, but here I am.

I just want to talk about how much fun I had. I didn’t realize how a Nuzlocke would breathe new life into a game I’m very familiar with and have played multiple times over the years. The excitement seeing what my next encounter would be, strategizing routes, using Pokemon I would never think to use in a normal play-through, the anxiety that came with every battle. It was all so much fun. And surprisingly difficult too!

Not seen here is Wigglytuff, who I had to retire before the Elite Four, but a key part of my run, coming in clutch a few times.

Also an apology goes out to Hitmonchan and Starmie. You were my first choices but I was careless and let you die. I lost others but these hit particularly hard.

As for my actual team, only Muk and Lapras survived to the end. I was severely under leveled for my rival fight. Every partner who died contributed to get me to the end and they will be missed.

I might try and breed these guys to transfer over to Sword, or Pearl and try another Nuzlocke.

This was so much fun!

Onion the Venusaur, Bolt the Jolteon, Nessie the Lapras, Hexxus the Muk, Mimiem the Mr. Mime, and Reaper the Aerodactyl.

I lost a grand total of 24 pokemon before the elite four, and unsurprisingly, the snowball was real causing me to enter the elite four with this goofy team, I managed to beat three of them, but I couldn't beat molayne as I went into his fight with only four pokemon left.

this run took around 3 months, it was a long and very fun ride.

I played with standard hardcore nuzloke rules, and standard genlocke rules (I think)

the only unique rules I had were that, if a pokemon died, it couldn't be caught in future games, and champions could have their natures changed when moving to the next game.

this run was a wild ride with many highs and lows, there were so many "it's so over" and "we're so back" moments.

I had a great time, and I didn't necessarily expect to win, I never even thought I'd get past platinum.

I doubt I'll do another nuzloke of any kind for a long time, I am really burned out of pokemon now lmao-

Deathless going into Iris. Traded blows until it was just Thanatos (Haxorus), Eyes (Crobat), and Heir (Bisharp) against her Archeops. I could’ve let Thanatos go down for a clean switch into Heir or probably even just kill it, but Eyes didn’t get in and I wanted everyone to feel they earned the chip. So with a ballsy switch into eyes he barely ate a rock slide and u-turned into the easy counter, Heir. Little did I know archeops got FOUR flinches in a row with rock slides until it killed Heir. With Eyes in red and Than on yellow I thought I blew another run. I sent in eyes for one last flight and then it came down to each of our last guys. Thanatos outsped with his boosted speed nature (which I didn’t think he would) and hit a dragon claw crit.

Electric.

After countless replays, randomizers, and reduxes, I finally beat a hardcore nuzlocke.

Ps. Don’t f around and find out, unless you got a dawg

Gimli's a fucking chad, he's outsped everything and cleared everything off the map, only places that needed healing or ethers/elixirs was Rock Tunnel, Silph and 8th gym. E4 is gonna find this fun, we got 546% heals and 3 max elixirs gg

This is my first nuzlocke (bdsp) and the 4th elite 4's medicham kills 5 pokemon then Cynthias spiritomb finishes off the last one. I failed.

So it’s my first nuzlocke run. Decided on Squirtle since I went Charmander on my main “fun run”…

Went into Route 22 hoping for a Mankey but ended up running into my first ever full odds shiny! (Pic 1.)

Fast forwarding to Mt. Moon, going in pretty excited with the newly acquired “King”, then loosing him on the last team rocket to a quick attack crit… heartbreaking (Pic 2.)

Now I’m in fear for “Trudy’s” life and want to ensure her survival without boxing her.

I farmed about 40 paras’s before leaving Mt. Moon and switched her in on every HP pokemon we fought.

Now I’m thinking I should have gone straight attack/speed but not sure. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am also planning on having my future Blastoise and Snorlax as my tanks.
