During my Ultra Sun hardcore nuzlocke, I was on the first Guzma fight. Magneton's Shock Wave didn’t KO Golisopod, causing it to switch to Masquerain due to having Emergency Exit. I decided to be a dumbass and switch to my Midday Lycanroc because due to Lycanroc being quad effective against Bug/Flying, I thought Rock resisted Bug moves. It doesn’t, and she got crit one-shot by Masquerain's Bug Buzz. This caused me to level up my Magneton to the level cap of Acerola's trial (35), in which I was supposed to save for Magnezone. Now I know why Skarm exists. Since then, I learned my lesson.

Moral: If you ever make mistakes like the above for example, don’t beat yourself up or blame RNG. Instead, ask yourself what went wrong and why it happened. Then, figure out your new strategy depending on your encounters and what you can do with them to make any difficult fight become more trivial. That’s how you improve as nuzlockers to become better.

1. Love me forever! - Ado (Remix 8): As a One Piece fan, I wasn’t expecting the VA for Uta to be heard in this game. She’s the reason this song's at the top of the list.
2. Oh! La mia dolce ciambella (Soda Hop 2): I love how Groove adds more languages to their songs aside from English and Japanese. Who knew we’d get 1950's rock n roll in Italian? My favorite character for a long time has always been the Frog Hop Bandleader from the DS, and I was surprised to see him actually return.
3. Sneezy Moon 2 - Despite difficult gameplay due to weirdly complex patterns, the music is still top 3 for me. The first one had pretty slow rock music which had me bopping my head a bit, but the sequel went REALLY hard turning the music up to 11.

I decided I'm gonna be planning on testing almost every encounter in XY to see how well they would perform throughout the game (inspired by pChal) because I haven’t seen a good XY nuzlocke tier list. This is my first nuzlocke testing btw so do y'all have any tips?

Rules:
- Set Mode
- No overleveling
- No healing items except for Berries
- Set-up Moves allowed
- Held items allowed
- No EVs
- 15 IVs in everything
- Neutral natures allowed
- Trade evolutions are ranked separately
- different methods of encounter routing involved

The following Pokémon excluded from testing:
- Shedinja (illegal dupe encounter, watch pChal's Emerald tier list and he'll explain it)
- Legendaries
- Alternate Rotom forms (only Regular Rotom is included)
- Mega Evolutions
