I'm doing a HC Nuzlocke on Renegade Platinum without EVs or Stat Boosting moves, VGC items rule, no weather, and a bunch of other restrictions.

Most of you know that the moment you add a few restrictions the Mamoswines you battle become a nightmare, Avalanche and Stone Edge AI is super unpredictable so switches in are pretty hard. For Candice I wanted to bait Mamo as soon as possible.

Electivire was perfect for the job, Fire Punch OHKO's Abomasnow, baiting Mamo who instantly dies to Close Combat. Baiting Glaceon next due to Earth Power.

After the defenses drop, Earth Power always kills and Blizzard did at most like 80%. So it would be a safe switch for a Choice Spect'ed Pidgeot to outspeed and kill Glaceon with a No Guard Hurricane, right? RIGHT????

FUCK NO! For some dumb reason Glaceon will still use Blizzard with an active Hail, even if its not a kill and even if Earth Power is 100% chance to kill.

Long story short: Pidgeot died, Glaceon evaded a Close Combat revenge kill due to Bright Powder and Hail, set up a few more Double teams e sweped my team.
