An app won't fix a toxic roommate, but we built something to handle the 20% that ruins good ones. Need honest feedback.

Hey everyone,

I’ve spent the last few years living in sharehouses. Some of my absolute best memories and closest friendships came from those houses, and I genuinely wish everyone could have that experience.

But watching my friends struggle in their own places made me realize how quickly small frictions can ruin a good dynamic. A passive-aggressive note about chores here, a forgotten bill there, and suddenly everyone is retreating to their rooms.

Let's be real: no app is going to magically solve deep compatibility issues or make a terrible roommate care. But I kept thinking if a tool could just handle the logistics and fix even 20% of the daily friction, it’s worth it.

So, a friend and I built a shared space app called Roomiz to organize chores, split bills, and keep a shared calendar, mostly to take the awkwardness out of the day-to-day stuff so people can just focus on enjoying living together.

It’s free to try, we just genuinely want to make sharehouse life a bit better. If you’re currently living with roommates, I would love for you to try it out and give me your brutally honest feedback on what works and what’s missing, that's the only way we can actually solve this problem.

Drop a comment or DM me if you’re open to checking it out or have any more questions and I'll send over the link. Thanks so much for your time and help!
