Any of y'all take an Energi up Mount Washington, New Hampshire?

I knew the hybrid battery pack wouldn't take me all the way up. What I didn't know was going back down, figuring I'd use the regenerative braking to charge my battery back up, that on several occasions, the engine would come on, and suddenly, it's not charging anymore. 🙄

Last year, I took a Prius Prime on this same route, and it didn't give me any issue. In fact, by the time I got to the bottom, the battery was back up to 75%. I probably seriously shortened my battery's life doing this, didn't I?

Finally hit the 6 figure mark tonight...

I wonder why after it reaches 100K miles, the decimal point goes away? Anyway, any of y'all ever replace the hybrid battery on an Energi? How much did it run you? Because the dealership wants, no shit, $14,780! No way I'm paying THAT much! That's $280 more than what I paid for the whole ass car back in December!
